Abstract

The development of the residential house construction industry requires the discovery of cheap materials and the production of effective work systems. This study focuses on finding feasible measures and maintenance methods in the pre-painted beam industry that are cheap and suitable for simple homes. Researchers made three types of reinforced concrete beam samples, totaling 60 samples. Reinforced concrete beams are made from green concrete made from rice husk ash as a partial replacement for cement. The types of treatment applied in making samples are air curing and hessian. The results of this research show that the effective bending strength of the beam is found at a size of 15 x 20 x 60 cm. while the type of treatment that is good and easy to apply is hessian.
