Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on the Relationship of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) and Turn over Intention in Banking Sector of Pakistan

Abstract

 This research study investigated the effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) and Turn over Intention in banking sector of Pakistan with the moderation effects of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Previous multiple studies are the witness for controlling Employee Turnover, Leader Member Exchange can help to give a solution to the problem under mediating role of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment. Leader Member Exchange can help to revoke excessive employee turnover from banks in Pakistan. After analysis of distributed self-administered 200 questionnaires from the bank employees, it was found that Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment mediate the relationship between LMX and Organization Turnover and show Beta values of -0.135 and -0.386 which ensures that under the impact of these variables there is indirect effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on Employee Turnover. The recommendation and further suggestions for future research are identified and proposed in this research study.
