Route Survey of Wukari-Tsokundi Road Taraba State, Nigeria

Abstract

The Route Survey of Tsokundi road was carried out by setting out the series of center lines starting from 0+000m and continuing to the end of the route. The levels were run along the route using leveling instrument (digital level) across the route width at right angle to the center line at interval of 25m and a transverse was run on the road using a T1 the odolite and then steel tape was used to obtain the distances. The elevation obtained will be used to aid in the design of the horizontal and vertical alignments. These heights will form the foundation for calculating values for construction purposes for cut and fill quantities.
