Abstract

LogbaTota is one of the Guan speaking states found in the Volta Region of Ghana. The people had an encounter with the people of Asante either through war or Co – existence. The study focused on establishing the relationship that existed between them in addition to identifying the assets that are found in the research area which are believed to have associated with the Asante people. The study being a qualitative one, made use of Observation as well as interviews to gather data. Purposive and Snowball sampling techniques were also used to sample the respondents for the study. The target population consisted of Chiefs, Historians, Educationists and Senior Citizens. It was revealed that, the LogbaTota people indeed associated with the Asante people for that matter had legacies to show to that effect.
