Abstract

Notwithstanding having worldwide nearness through two global channels from its bundle, Doordarshan still needs basic approval and ubiquity. Following 50 years of its reality, it is far away from being a capable open supporter creating quality projects thinking about the mechanical up-degrees. This article attempts to survey the long 50 years of TV open telecom in India, starting with investigating its beginning in 1959, going through the achievements in communicating, and finishing up at examining the entanglements and difficulties ahead, as against different PBS on the planet. This is simply a subjective report dependent on literary investigation.
