Abstract

Relevance and use for learning, it has not been largely established. Therefore, the study examined the incorporation of web-based instruction (WBI) in learning of creative arts in Ile Ife, Nigeria. The study further investigates the performances of learners taught with WBI. Also, gender as regards their performances when exposed to WBI and performances based on schools. The study was of pre and post-test of experimental nature. Three hypothesizes were tested at the 0.05 alpha level. Fifty learners participated in two different schools. The study revealed the positive aspect of WBI. Finally, it was recommended that WBI be used for the teaching of creative arts in Nigeria Junior schools.
