Abstract

Thispaperattemptsto formulatetheAggregateInvestmentFunction.Inthispaperthe empiricaldatahasnotbeenfittedintoanyonetheoreticalstraightjacket.Itindentifiesthe majorfactorsthatdetermine investment,whichhave beentakenfromdifferenttheoriesof investment.The threemajortheoriesexaminedhereareKeynes' theory,the Accelerator Model and the Neo-Classical TheoryofInvestment.
