Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of project monitoring processes on the performance of TVET Institution's construction in Kenya. This study adopted a descriptive design with a target population of 146 and a sample size of 107 of TVET Institution's Construction. Data collection instrument was questionnaire. The quantitative data were analysed using inferential analysis. From the findings, the project planning process (β = 19.062, p< 0.05) was found to be positively significant to the performance of TVET Institution's construction in Kenya. The study recommends that various aspects that contribute to monitoring Processes and enhancing the performance of construction projects are monitoring project variations, monitoring project progress, resource tracking and use of monitoring tools and techniques.
