Effects of Primary Colours on Primary School Children's Pleasantness Moods in Tanzania

Abstract

A current experiment was conducted in order to investigate effects of primary colours on primary school children's pleasantness moods. The study involved class III and VI boys and girls from three socio-economical classes. In total the participants were 72. The study was conducted through Repeated Measures experimental design that used Latin-Square arrangement for subjecting the participants to the conditions of the study. The data were collected in a laboratory. Data analysis was done through 1- Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for Repeated Measures design. The study mainly revealed that various colours had various effects on the children's pleasantness moods. After a discussion of the findings subsequent recommendations were provided.
