Abstract
Unconventionally in photovoltaic (PV) generations systems, grid-connected AC module can be applied. It is a combination of a PV panel and a micro-inverter connected to grid. Application of this high step-up converter is vital for the grid-connected micro inverter, as the input voltage is about 15 V to 40 V for a single PV panel. The anticipated converter employs a Zeta converter and a coupled inductor, without intense duty ratios and high turn ratios generally required for the coupled inductor to accomplish high step-up voltage adaptation; the leakage-inductor energy of the coupled inductor is economically recycled to the load thereby improving the energy-conversion efficiency.
